Party Wrap-Up

Well despite the Ultimate Blog Party ending on March 9, I continued the partying until today. I have now visited all the blogs at the party! It was so much fun. There sure are a wide variety of blogs out there in blogland =)
I did not comment on each and every one I visited for a variety of reasons, but I did visit each and every one.
I can not point you to just one blog I found and loved and could not live without. Merely because I only added roughly 150 blogs to my bloglines account. :X
I will have to start a blog reading rotation here ... I can not keep up with all the blogs I have on my feeds. Well, not unless of course I start to ignore the house and the kids.
As it was, I only got through a majority of the UBP posts because my dh was not home for quite a few days last week/weekend and so I had my evenings completely free to browse on-line.
Besides, I enjoy blogging, but do not want it to become my life. I have a feeling in a few weeks I will have to remove some of those blogline feeds (since I had 100 before the UBP and now have 250).
But the party was so much fun! I loved participating in it. I know the point was never to visit every blog listed there, but it was just something I decided to do anyway, and it was worth it to see so many great people out in blogland! =)

Yes, it's amazing how the Blogosphere can take over our lives if we let it, isn't it? That was quite an amazing trip you took, visiting all those blogs! Makes me feel nostalgic for the days when I wasn't baby sitting my grandson and had a couple hours to myself in the afternoons to devote to reading others' blogs. I don't know how technology will change in the future, but I can just picture someone a thousand years from now stumbling across blogs...at this stage in life, all we have are artifacts -- and not all that many of them! - left over from ancient civilizations. Can you imagine what a treasure-trove all these blogs will be someday for historians?!? There are MILLIONS of them!

Brandie,

I just taught a class on blogging. There are over 80 million of them -- 2 new ones created each SECOND! I hope you don't try to visit all of them.

I commend you for visiting all the blogs from the party (including mine).

As for me, I'm just now answering the e-mails from the people who visited my blog during the party!
